Southampton Transfer News: Osvaldo Undergoes Juventus Medical

Exiled Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo is close to completing a short-term deal to join Italian giants Juventus, as he is currently in Italy having a medical with the Turin club. Following on from news of Juventus' interest, the striker, whose association with Southampton was all but ended thanks to a training ground bust-up with Jose Fonte, the striker has been pictured during the first part of his medical wearing a bowler hat.
It looks likely that the striker will join the Italians on a loan deal until the end of the month after an inauspicious start to his career on the south coast, which has included violent conduct on and off the pitch and just 3 goals in 13 appearances. According to Sky Sports, the player will take a paycheck to join Juventus, and the MailOnline suggest that there is a£330,000 involved in the loan.
Earlier, Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted that it would be difficult for Dani Osvaldo to ever play for the club again. The deal for Dani Osvaldo could have an impact on North London, as the MailOnline also reported that Juventus were trying to sell Mirko Vucinic to Tottenham, after a proposed move to Inter Milan failed to materialise.
