Playing for Stromsgodset, Odegaard helped the team to qualify for next season's Europa League with five goals and a number of great performances that showcased a hugely impressive level of skill and technical ability for a player of his age. With the Norwegian close season occurring over winter, Odegaard has been targeted by a number of Europe's top clubs. Recent weeks have seen him training with the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and both Manchester clubs as he seeks to determine where his future lies. Bayern have been talked about as the favourites to sign Odegaard above his many Premier League suitors, but it is by no means a done deal.
