Like his Fulham counterparts, Rickie hasn't found the net as often as predicted after a storming first season among the elite of English football, only scoring twice in his opening 8 matches, and not once from open play. Whether it is fatigue from the England setup, or not gelling under Pochettino's new system, the goals haven't been flowing like they were under Nigel Adkins. In fact, he has only scored a handful of goals since Pochettino took over from Adkins, and most of them have been set-pieces. Nevertheless, he is still one of the best players to play for the club in modern memory, and it is only a matter of time before he starts finding the net. The last time these two clubs met, in the 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Boxing Day, the Saints rescued a point late on in the game, courtesy of a trademark penalty from the marksman. So far this season, he has been unlucky, having been denied by several great saves. Out of the 21 shots he has had this season, 12 of them were on target. However only two of them have been goals. Having said that, there have been times over the past few seasons where Lambert has had a quiet few games, so Saints fans won't have long to wait before the lion roars again. Senderos has yet to lose so far this season, having been ruled out of Fulham's four defeats this season, as well as the win on the opening day against Sunderland. In the three games he has featured in, he's been a rock at the heart of their defence. His four tackles were all successful, he has an 86% pass completion record averaging at 22m and he has won more aerial duels than he's lost. He is also slightly bigger than Lambert, giving him a slight size advantage. He has also provided a goal and an assist so far in his limited campaign. Which side has the edge? Will Fulham make it 3 wins in a row, or will Southampton continue marching in with another win? All I know is that there is only one match on Saturday teatime that I want to be at, and it's not at Camp Nou.
