3. Brad Friedel
Admittedly, Brad Friedel was never really going to be first choice this season after the signing of Hugo Lloris last August, followed by the fine performances the Frenchman then put it. However, despite being 42-years-old, the American has proven himself to be a valuable reserve goalkeeper playing in both the Europa League and League Cup last season as Spurs reached the quarter finals and last 16 respectively. It looks to be another season of the same for Friedel as Lloris refuses to relinquish his grip on the starting spot, but having the experienced American stepping in every so often as Spurs look to challenge on multiple fronts could prove to be invaluable.
