Kyle Walker is a good player, but he hasn't convinced every Spurs fan that he's a good enough defender quite yet. That said, he's a brilliant attacking threat, an England international and one of the best right backs in the Premier League and it's hard to see where Spurs would find a player who could truly be considered an upgrade. As a result, he's the best option Spurs can hope to field in the right back position on the first day of this coming season and fans of the club will be hoping he steps up for the whole campaign and plays as well as he can - because, on his day, he can be great. He's quick, he's hard working, he's got a decent cross in his arsenal and he loves playing for Spurs. His disappointment in missing out on the World Cup through injury will have left him hungry for football and hopefully that brings out the best in him. Walker joined Spurs from Sheffield United in a double deal, with his friend and fellow right back Kyle Naughton, back in 2009.
