Spurs Transfer Deadline Day: 10 Major Deals That Could Happen
10. Emmanuel Adebayor To PSG Or QPR
Emmanuel Adebayor is not a popular man at White Hart Lane at the moment. He recently spent a couple of months on the sidelines, having travelled home to Togo to deal with some personal issues - and having previously made the outlandish claim that his poor form was because of the fact that his family had cursed him. This bizarre excuse, in conjunction with his poor form this season, general inconsistency and poor attitude have all contributed to the chorus of boos he receives when he takes to the pitch and most Spurs fans would be happy to see the back of him. A loan deal to either Paris Saint-Germain or Queens Park Rangers has been touted, but his reported weekly wage of £100,000 could prove to be the major stumbling block (even a fraction of which would rule out another interested club, Stoke City) and Spurs would need to find a replacement for him because, if he left the club, only Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado would remain as senior strikers.
