7. Napoli
Perhaps the lure of Italy may tempt him. Now in previous years, we have known president Aurelio De Laurentiis to be a bit outlandish, unpredictable and unconventional when it comes to signing players and
unveiling them at press conferences, so perhaps he may have the funds to trump everyone. Again like other entries, Napoli have made a big-money signing in their quest to win Serie A and advance further in the Champions League this season. In comes Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid as they look to shore up their striking options. Plus he managerial factor may come in, as Rafa Benitez was opposition manager when he witneseds Bale's masterful displays in the Champions League against Inter Milan in the 2010-11 season, and then again as Chelsea manager last season. So, Benitez knows what quality he brings to the team, as Napoli look to rebuild after the sales of Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi- two that made up Napoli's 'three tenors' (Hamsik, the other, remains in Naples)- in consecutive summers. So, possibly the next man in a lion mask at a Napoli unveiling could be him?!
