Another side, like Dortmund, who saw a rival steal their league crown and run away with it, Manchester City will look to bounce back with a vengeance. Mind you they have started well in the transfer market with the captures of Alvaro Negredo, Fernandinho, Jesus Navas and Stevan Jovetic. Whether City's financial clout is enough to double their outlay in one swoop remains to be seen, but what is without question is that the attacking department will be made all the more formidable by the acquisition. Furthermore, there are extra advantages that City (and other English clubs can give) such as a move abroad wouldn't unsettle any family life or commitments he has here. Secondly, there are personnel who have seen him first-hand and may persuade Pellegrini to contact the owners and part some substantial cash to lure him to Eastlands- a bit like when Man United signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
