Spurs Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer
8. Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)
Ever since Ryan Sessegnon's name started getting bandied about in conjunction with a move to a Premier League giant, it's always seemed more likely than not that he will eventually end up at Tottenham.
His rapid rise from Football League apprentice to one of the country's most sought-after young players is reminiscent of current Spurs man Dele Alli, who broke through three or four years ago at MK Dons before moving to White Hart Lane.
The salient difference between these two examples is that the North Londoners managed to snatch Alli before any of their PL counterparts caught wind of his enormous potential. Sessegnon, by contrast, is likely to be the subject of an intense bidding war should he come on the market.
Should they manage to mach any rival bids, however, Spurs can offer him one thing many other clubs can't, namely a first-team berth and the opportunity to work with a coach in Pochettino who is renowned for developing young players.
