Spurs Transfers: 4 Wingers To Replace Gareth Bale
1. ngel Dí María
Coming out on top is ngel Dí Maria, the highly rated Real Madrid winger.
Arguably under other circumstances, Di Maria wouldn't be tempted by a move away from the Bernabeú, but with Real Madrid looking favourites to snap up Bale, he could be exiting Spain and coming to North London as a sweetener to the protracted world record deal.
If this deal comes through, Spurs will be getting a very complete player notable for his attacking player and his status as a team player (53 assists is a testament to this-not forgetting his 25 goals during his stay in the Spanish capital). This will sure satisfy the demands of the club and the fans in their pursuit of Champions League football and will surely add to the glamour and appeal of the English top division, in light of the spending powers that some teams in other leagues have. For these reasons he tops the list and I see him as a perfect candidate to feel Bale's boots at the heart of Spurs' attacking threat.
