3. Alexandre Pato
Another Brazilian who could be on their way to White Hart Lane in the New Year is Alexandre Pato. Pato spent six seasons at Italian giants Milan but has stepped away from the limelight recently, returning to his native Brazil - where he began his career with Internacional - to join Corinthians earlier this year. Despite joining Corinthians last January, another move could be on the cards after the Brazilian club hinted they would let him go
for £10 million or even on loan. £10 million is well within Tottenham's budget and, at just 24, Pato could be the bargain of the transfer window. Capable of playing on his own or in a front-two alongside Soldado, Pato would certainly add depth to Andre Villas-Boas' side going into a busy New Year schedule. Arsenal are also interested, meaning Spurs may have to do battle with their London rivals if they are to get their man.
