Steven Caulker. The young centre back only departed the club a year ago, in an
£8.5 million deal to then newly promoted Cardiff City, but the Welsh club's relegation back to the Championship could instigate a transfer scramble for the man who scored against Sweden on his England debut. With Cardiff City in debt, they will probably be looking to cash-in on the youngster and reported interest from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United will mean Spurs might have to move quickly to grab their former protégé - a man who was once expected to be Ledley King's long-term replacement at White Hart Lane.
