8. Getting Sick Of These Plans
In 1972, United presented a detailed set of proposals that would see the existing ground demolished and four 'uniform stands' (seats upstairs with standing in front) put in its place.
Nothing came of the proposal apart from the East Stand that is still part of the ground today.
