3. Gus Poyet
Brighton
suspended manager Gus Poyet just less than a week ago over claims he breached his contract and, having lost out on promotion to the Premier League this season after Crystal Palace knocked them out of the play-offs en-route to the Wembley Final, looks almost certain to leave. Poyet has made no secret of his ambition to manage in the Premier League in the past, although he rejected the opportunity to take charge of Reading back in March. However, with the Seagulls now confined to Championship football for yet another season, the Uruguayan could find the offer of managing another Premier League team too tempting to resist this time. The former Chelsea and Spurs midfielder joined Brighton in November 2009 with the club in a relegation battle in League One. He led the Seagulls to safety that season and then won the League One title in his first full campaign in charge.
