2. Roberto Di Matteo
Another former Chelsea manager/player who has been tipped to replace Tony Pulis is Roberto Di Matteo. The Italian was ruthlessly sacked by the Blues last November and was replaced by Benitez for the second half of the season. But there's really little more Di Matteo could have done during his time at Stamford Bridge. He won the FA Cup last May and then followed that up by winning the Champions League - the club's first ever. His sacking made next to no sense but he could get another chance in the Premier League with Stoke. Along with Benitez, he's one of the more accomplished managers on this list, and Stoke would ordinarily struggle to find someone with "FA Cup and Champions League winner" printed on their CV and a willingness to take the hotseat at the Britannia. Any club in Stoke's position would be wise to snap up a manager with such credentials.
