A name that is sure to divide opinion on Wearside, Fabio Borini has still not been forgiven for his stubborn refusal to leave Liverpool at the end of his successful loan spell. The Italian reiterated his desire to stay at Anfield when speaking to the Liverpool Echo in January, but with the Reds signing Danny Ings and Christian Benteke to join Sturridge and Balotelli, he still remains far down the pecking order. A return to Sunderland must surely be a tempting option; he is already familiar with the Black Cats' system (one admittedly made slightly more dynamic by the arrival of Dick Advocaat), and demonstrated his ability to find the back of the net during his eventful season-long loan. Fans know that Borini can be counted on to work hard, track back when needed, and pop up with a goal at the most crucial of moments. He would be a fantastic (and familiar) addition.
