ST - Daryl Murphy

Of all the players on this list, Daryl Murphy is the man in the most current form. He was crowned the Championship's top scorer last season after scoring 27 goals for Ipswich, the latest stage in a late-career resurgence which has seen the 32 year old notch 40 goals in 89 appearances for the Blues. Murphy stayed at Sunderland for three seasons following promotion in 2008, but scored only 3 goals in that time. He then moved to Celtic, but again failed to properly break into the first team there, instead relying upon several loan spells with Ipswich for playing time. Now very much a permanent part of Mick McCarthy's setup there, the Irishman will be looking to continue his good form in 2015/16.
