Substitute - Stephen Elliott

Elliott's time at Sunderland came relatively early in his career, and he is currently still plying his trade for Carlisle United at the age of 31. He left at the end of the Black Cats' promotion campaign to reunite with former boss Mick McCarthy at Wolves. Unfortunately the Irish international failed to really impress there, and endured a series of unspectacular spells at Preston, Norwich and Coventry. In the SPL, however, he did help Hearts to two successive Scottish Cup triumphs.
