Swansea 2-3 Man City: Premier League Player Ratings

Swansea

Gerhard Tremmel: Beaten three times, but could do little about any of them. Williams deflection on Toure's shot for second City goal took the ball agonizingly past the German goalie. Unsighted for Kolarov's goal by Canas. 5/10. Angel Rangel: Culpable for Fernandinho's goal and did not close down Kolarov for City's third either. Supplemented attack well, but found out defensively here. 4/10. Chico Flores: Also at fault for conceding the opener and failed to stop Kolarov's tilt when he came infield. 4/10. Ashley Williams: Deflected Toure's strike beyond own keeper for City's second goal. Almost scored himself when Hart flapped at a corner. 4.5/10. Ben Davies: Struggled against the pace of Navas. Bold call Laudrup got wrong here. Neil Taylor would have offered more experience. 4/10. Jose Canas: Booked for dissent and lost possession for Toure goal. Kolarov goal also went through his legs. Not a good performance at all by one of the Swans Spanish contingent. 3/10. Jonjo Shelvey: Made the equalizer by a run off the ball, but booked for wild lunge on Nasri. Laudrup switched him to the left second half for a while without success. Subbed. 5/10. Click next for more Swansea player ratings, including subs.
