Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are in high spirits as they approach the manager's 17th anniversary since taking charge of the club. The Gunners, since their shock defeat to Aston Villa, travel to Swansea for this afternoon's late kick-off in a run of form that has seen them go unbeaten since August 17th. Joint-top of the table with London rivals Tottenham on goal difference, a win here and a prolonged stay in top-spot would be the perfect way for Wenger to ring in his milestone achievement next week. Swansea however aren't in a particularly cheerful mood, having surrendered their defence of the Capital One Cup at the very first hurdle against Birmingham City midweek. That came however following a morale-boosting win over Valencia and draw with Liverpool and manager Michael Laudrup will be hoping to get his side back on track here today. The Swans beat the Gunners 2-0 at Emirates Stadium last season and with Arsenal lacking a few key players, another upset could be on the cards.
