Manchester City beat Real Madrid to Aleksandar Kolarov's signatures in 2010 and he went on to star for the side over the next seven years.

He had a fairly successful debut season but the arrival of Gael Clichy saw the Serbian lose his position in the starting XI and was left to content with an understudy role during the title winning season of 2011/12.

However, Kolarov soon fought his way back into the side and this time, firmly consolidated his place. He even played a starring role in the next Premier League triumph in 2014 and also in the pair of League Cup victories.

In all, he earned 247 caps with the Citizens and managed to get involved in 58 goals in the process before joining AS Roma in 2017, where he has continued to excel.
