The Most Expensive Liverpool XI Of All Time

6. RM: Mohamed Salah

In order for this team to actually function we've gone back to basics with an old fashioned 442. But even if he was forced to play a little deeper, we're still confident the Mohamed Salah would be the main goal threat in this team.

After struggling to make an impact at Chelsea, few predicted the Egyptian King would ever return to the Premier League. But following a successful spell with Roma, Liverpool plumped up a lot to bring Salah back to England.

Yet no-one, let alone Klopp, could have foreseen the impact Salah has had at Anfield. He scored a record breaking 32 goals in the premier League in his first season, became the fastest Reds player to reach 50 goals (doing so in just 65 games) and at the time of writing he has netted an unbelievable 70 goals in his first 100 league games for Liverpool.

Salah's contributions to the club's trophy wins over the last year should be obvious by now and individually he has received countless accolades, even managing to blag the 2018 Puskas Award.

His blistering pace, fine finishing and excellent skills, make him ideal for Klopp's attacking style of play and will not doubt go down as one of the greatest players in Liverpool history.
