Top Sunderland Target 'Available For £9million'

Putting that Conor Wickham transfer fee to good use...

Fenerbahce board member Mahmut Uslu has confirmed that Moussa Sow would be available to Sunderland for approximately £9million, according to ClubCall.com. The Senegalese striker has scored an impressive 51 goals in 102 league appearances for the Istanbul side, yet only has a relatively low release clause of ‚13million, if Uslu is to be believed. This would be good news for Sunderland, who recently sent Connor Wickham to Crystal Palace, leaving the senior squad with only three out-and-out strikers in the form of Jermain Defoe, Danny Graham, and Steven Fletcher. The trio have all scored relatively inconsistently since arriving at the Stadium of Light, making a regular goalscorer something of a priority for the Black Cats.
