Tottenham Prepare £15m Bid For Newcastle Forward

The Magpies remain adamant that Ayoze Perez is not for sale.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a last-ditch £15 million bid for Newcastle United striker, Ayoze Perez, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports state that the North London club made contact over the weekend and are hoping the player can bolster their striker options.

Despite the 22-year-old being happy at Newcastle, Tottenham are hoping that the lure of London can change his mind.

Newcastle United have laughed off talk of a £15 million exit for young Magpies star Ayoze Perez and insisted he is not for sale. The club have confirmed that any link with Spurs or €œanyone else€ was €œtotal rubbish€ and that Perez will be staying at St James' Park.

The Spanish striker was picked up by Newcastle for just £1m last summer, despite interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. The striker has scored 7 goals in 37 appearances for the club and could make a return to the first-team as fellow striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is suspended for three matches.
