The beginning is very bizarre, although eventually he begins to criticise Sonnen. He went to the extent of calling him a "lower level" fighter, due to staying down like a little girl after Anderson Silva kneed him. The video began to change into a white and black format to somehow make it even more bizarre. Silva continuously called Sonnen scared, which was a bold statement considering Sonnen consistently calls out the top fighters in the world. His goal is to simply punish him for disrespecting Brazil on numerous occasions. The video was controversial because people expected a regular video of him actually addressing their issues. There was no interview, it rather reminded me people of a pro wrestling promo. His choice of words was very repetitive, yet the media and fans were captivated by his promo. When you go to the extent of calling someone a lower level fighter when they've fought for championships, it doesn't get much more critical than that. Then you add on his theory of Sonnen's "tendency to quit", which is one of the most negative labels you can give a fighter. The video was odd, yet it did attract a massive amount of views and keep the feud buzzing.
