UFC Fight Night 44: Matches To Make For The Winners

Kelvin Gastelum

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKf1t6iBsYI Kelvin Gastelum is in an odd place right now. Prior to his fight with Nicholas Musoke, he publicly stated that he'd parted ways with diet and weight cut guru Mike Dolce, over how much Dolce cost. Then he missed weight for his fight this past Saturday, coughing up 20% of his purse. Dolce posted "worth every penny" in response to this on his twitter, and Gastelum has now alluded to possibly returning to Dolce. This isn't the first time Gastelum has had trouble making 170lbs. He competed at middleweight when he won the Ultimate Fighter, then changed weight classes. If he's having that much trouble, perhaps he does need to go back up - but for now lets see if he can sort all this out. The undefeated in the UFC Kiichi Kunimoto could be a possibility, but if the UFC remains big on Gastelum despite his weight issues, expect a bigger name opponent. Gunnar Nelson, should he beat Zak Cummings, would be a good option.
