West Ham Transfers: 5 Strikers To Improve Goal Return

4. Ross McCormack (Leeds United)

When looking for a new striker that you feel will settle quickly and score the goals to keep you in the Premier League; it€™s obvious to look towards the leading scorer in the Championship. So, that€™s why Leeds United€™s Ross McCormack enters this list. You have to say that Leeds has been indifferent with their form this season, and it€™s very much up in the air if they will make the play-offs or not. There was plenty of speculation on McCormack in the summer, and on that occasion he opted to stay where he was. However, it could well be a different story this month, especially if a Premier League club are going to give him the opportunity of a lifetime. He has scored 17 goals this season with 2.8 shots per game, showing a level of efficiency to his goalscoring. The 27-year-old Scottish player has also managed to provide three assists this season, showing the creative side to his game. This is further underpinned by his 2.3 key passes and 1.4 crosses per match, which shows he isn€™t just a selfish striker. However, it remains to be seen if West Ham think taking a player from the Championship is worth the risk when the cost of failure is so high.
