West Ham United: 10 Managers Who Could Replace Sam Allardyce
4. David Moyes
Why He Should: Given the criticism he gets for his short spell at Manchester United, it's easy to forget just how well Moyes did at Everton. He guided the Merseyside club into the top four and Champion's League qualification as well as an FA Cup final, and won the League Managers Association Manager of the Year award on three occasions doing his time there. He's also been gaining praise while at Real Sociedad, suggesting he has the ability to be a good choice for West Ham.
Furthermore, taking Everton into Europe means that he may well be able to repeat the trick and take West Ham to the next level too.
Why He Shouldn't: Moyes has said that he would prefer to stay at Real Sociedad and complete his goals there before returning to the Premier League, so it might well be the wrong time for West Ham to make their approach.
On top of that, his reputation has been damaged as a result of his time at United, where he didn't live up to fan or media expectations. His return to the Premier League would be under immense scrutiny and inviting that added pressure would be a risk for West Ham.
