West Ham United: 10 Managers Who Could Replace Sam Allardyce

3. Jürgen Klopp

Why He Should: One of the biggest news stories of the season was that Jürgen Klopp would be leaving Dortmund at the end of it. A manager loved by the media for his erratic ways, he has a reputation for bringing young players through and crafting teams that were well set up - even on a budget. He'd be a great choice for West Ham as he could set them up for the future.

He has a reputation for taking underdogs and winning trophies with them, having won the Bundesliga twice and the German Cup once in his time with Borussia Dortmund. This would be encouraging for Hammers fans if they got him, as in a country containing both Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea - as well as others - they'd be considered underdogs often.

Why He Shouldn't: Klopp has suggested he wants to take a break after Dortmund to consider his next move. This may mean he isn't available quickly enough for the Hammers, who will want to appoint someone soon to maintain stability.

It'll be a challenge to get him, anyway. Klopp has been linked with clubs like Liverpool and Real Madrid, as well as big money offers from the likes of Brentford (which apparently failed). Most clubs around Europe would be happy to have him. West Ham would face an uphill battle for his signature.
