2. Tommy Haas
Tommy Haas just doesnt know when to quit. After a potentially career ending set of injuries back in 2010, Haas has come back stronger, hungrier and technically more capable of causing an upset or two. At 35, ancient by tennis standards, the evergreen Haas is experiencing a renaissance and has been playing the best tennis of his career, highlighted this season by easily defeating world number 1 Novak Djokovic in Miami. After falling at the 1st hurdle in the last 2 Wimbledon championships, Haas will certainly be hoping to make a greater impression upon the tournament this year and match his career best of reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals back in 2009. He has also proven his grass court credentials when defeating Roger Federer back in 2012 in Halle, famed for being Federers usual stomping ground before Wimbledon. However, he does start with a very tricky opening match against Russian Dimitry Tursunov this afternoon. If he can get through this a potential quarter final match up with world number 1 Novak Djokovic will be his.
