When looking at these kind of lists, its not always about picking players that operate in the same position but instead replacing the type of impact that they would make. That is very much my thinking in including West Hams attacking midfielder Ravel Morrison in this list. Morrison has certainly been a bright spot for a poor Hammers team this season. The player has contributed three goals and two assists already this season as well as bettering Sterling at dribbling with 2.2 per match. The player is still just 20 years old, and has yet to make his full England bow but he is another one of those that has featured for the England U21 team recently. As we know, the transfer window is currently open and it may well be that Morrison will move on before the month ends, the latest speculation suggests interest from Fulham with a possible £5m bid. Such a move would not be a disaster for Hodgson as long as the player continues to play regular Premier League matches. Morrison is certainly a versatile player, but probably is best as an attacking midfielder. So, which if these players should be going to the World Cup as Walcotts replacement?
