17 Things We Learned From Newcastle Vs. Club Atlas

13. Papiss Cisse REALLY Wants To Remain A Newcastle Player

It was abundantly clear once more than Papiss Cisse was playing for his Newcastle United future. The striker was full of running and was blatantly trying to get more involved with some of the intricate passing moves that the team were putting together, something he normally stays away from. The 30-year-old didn't have too many chances but after seeing a couple fail to trouble the Atlas goal, he had a header brilliantly saved by keeper Miguel Pinto when a spot of goal line technology could have come to Untied's aid. But there has definitely been a change in the style of his play that Ian Cathro especially, and his high press tactics, will have loved seeing over the past two games.
