10 Community Cameos You Probably Missed
4. Robert Patrick
In Season 5's Analysis of Cork-Based Networking, Annie and Hickey have to jump through several hoops to try and install a bulletin board on campus.
On the way, they bump into several celebrities portraying Greendale faculty, including Nathan Fillion, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jerry Minor. However, Robert Patrick may be the easiest of these cameos to miss.
Patrick blends into the background here as easily as he does in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, in which he portrays a shapeshifting robot assassin, the iconic T-1000. In Community, he plays Waldron, the head of parking at Greendale.
When Annie and Hickey promise the IT Lady a new parking spot if she unblocks porn on the Greendale WiFi network for the custodians' computers so the custodians would be willing to put up the bulletin board, Annie and Hickey ask if Waldron can help them out.
Waldron agrees, provided that he can oversee the bulletin boards on campus. He insists on controlling the boards so he can try to eliminate rideshares, the one thing that can stop his parking department's power. Annie agrees to this condition, showing her desperation to get this bulletin board up.
Though Patrick's appearance as Waldron comes towards the end of Community's run, it feels like classic Community that Greendale would have a power hungry head of a parking department.
