10 Worst Dexter Episodes

When it comes to Dr Vogel's views on psychopaths, nothing really makes sense. She dismisses the more humane aspects of Dexter as his flaws, dooming him to failure should he continue treading water in a more conventional life he's ill-equipped for. Understandably miffed, Morgan insists she's underestimating him.
Sadly, this line serves more as dreary foreshadowing of Dexter's impending, self-imposed doom rather than a hint at profound character development. Curiously, it's Dexter's slightly more rooted personal life and approach that, up to this point, has helped keep him in the clear.
Vogel's unblinking surprise son, on the other hand, seems devoid of anything even remotely human. Does that make him perfect? If so, why did she have him locked up and forgotten for decades? Could it be Dr Vogel was a poorly thought out late show twist that only succeeded in undermining (the much more interesting) Harry Morgan?
Other than big time fans of Mama Cass, few will find much of excitement in this late stage instalment of the killer-killer's adventures. That mythical Argentina getaway is mentioned multiple times as Dexter and Hannah's increasingly nonsensical romance chugs along to its ill-fated conclusion. In the meantime, Dexter investigates the death of the short-lived Zach Hamilton character.
For those watching at the time, this episode served only to up the worry-factor in just where this show was heading for its last hurrah.
