9. Meet The Defenders - The Defenders
Aside from the movies, Marvel has also been killing it on Netflix too, thanks to Daredevil and Jessica Jones; Luke Cage didn’t quite reach those same highs it was still entertaining stuff. The jury is out on Iron Fist, but it sure looks good. Since all these superpowered folk exist in the same city and semi-regularly bump into each other, a team-up show was only a matter of time.
This violent version of The Avengers will unite the group against Sigourney Weaver’s villain, and while there will no doubt be lots of interesting drama and character work, one image the fans will be eager for is the first time the team fight together.
It may not have the budget of Marvel’s cinematic output, but that one image of the team together will make fans positively dizzy.
