5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Aug 26)

1. A Gritty Bloodline Beatdown

The Usos Roman Reigns Drew McIntyre

Last week, SmackDown ended with a fired-up Drew McIntyre hoisting both World Titles above his head. This time, WWE booked a reminder of the numbers advantage Roman Reigns has heading into next week's stadium show mega-match. The final few moments also put over the importance of The Usos to his cause.

They came across as real vicious sorts.

You've got to love rampaging, super-intense bad bastard Roman. He flits between that and a calm manipulator with ease, but every single skit he's involved in feels dangerous, lively and must-see. That, dear readers, is what makes him the best all-rounder in the industry today.

The way he roared with approval as Jimmy and Jey bashed Drew with steel chair shots was tremendous. Remember this spot come Clash, 'cause there's every chance McIntyre will get his revenge on The Usos before thumping Roman with a chair himself.

Top, top finish.
