WWE WrestleMania 30: Top 8 Matches At Wrestlemania 30

1. John Cena Vs Bray Wyatt

The match that closes Wrestlemania 30 is planned to be John Cena Vs Bray Wyatt. The contest is set in stone after the Wyatt family beat up Cena at both Elimination Chamber and the Network Launch Raw. Cena will get his revenge at Wrestlemania 30, with Hulk Hogan perhaps helping to stop Harper and Rowan getting involved. In some ways this main event booking is way off. Bray Wyatt has proven to be an excellent wrestler in recent showings, but rarely wrestled at all in 2013. He has been with the company less than a year and is straight into a Mania main event? He is hardly a Brock Lesnar level of a star and there will no doubt be some resentment in the WWE locker room. Quite frankly he is only in the spot because Cena is in a limbo, all the other big names are matched up. WWE is taking a punt on Wyatt but it will inevitably be perceived as a match lacking glamour. This isn't the big name Mania clash we are accustomed with. The other big problem is the terrible character dynamics. You have a heel who gets cheers and a face who gets booed. Just like Batista and Orton the story isn't going to have the clarity to be great. It's an ill conceived feud but on the night should be a really good match. Cena Vs WyattWill it draw buys? Yes, John Cena has a built in audience, anything with his name attached is going to make money. Anticipation level: 80% It's an A level star versus a B level star. It doesn't have the same marquee perception that Undertaker Vs Lesnar holds. It's an inferior match. Outcome: Cena wins, Bray Wyatt is only in this match because Cena was stuck for an opponent to beat.

Overall Verdict On Wrestlemania 30 Card

The card right now looks to be this - Reigns vs Ambrose vs RollinsAJ Lee vs TaminaNew Age Outlaws vs The Usos vs The Rhodes BrothersCesaro vs Jack SwaggerTriple H vs Daniel BryanUndertaker vs Brock LesnarOrton vs BatistaCena vs Wyatt It's a real mixed bag. The AJ and Outlaws matches are filler so they can be forgotten. The Shield triple threat and Cesaro match in contrast promise to be very exciting, they'll make for an enjoyable undercard. The main events are great to garbage. Undertaker vs Lesnar is huge and will attract both hardcore and casual fan interest, with some in the MMA world likely to pick up on the event following the UFC angle a few years back. It's a big enough match to ensure Mania 30 draws regardless of the other contests ... which is just as well. Orton vs Batista and Cena vs Wyatt just aren't the Mania calibre events we have come to expect. The problems have been well documented but the WWE will stick to their plans regardless. Daniel Bryan will have to settle for Triple H which is a very nice consolation prize to have. That should be a great contest and admittedly makes sense as a Mania feud, the blue collar versus white collar aspect a surefire draw. Overall the Bryan match and Undertaker match will make the show a success, but the rest could end up something to behold for all the wrong reasons. Will the Event draw: Yes but it will be down on last years buys for reasons also related to the Network. Event Anticipation level: 80% It isn't as exciting as last year and fans will really miss CM Punk. Event Outcome: The Authority storyline ends and Daniel Bryan goes on to dominate the Championship in 2014, probably facing Batista for the gold at Extreme Rules.
