5. Juan Manuel Marquez
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwuxqiTep7c Alias: El Dinamita Division: Welterweight Age: 40 Country: Mexico Record: 55-7-1 (50 KOs) Titles: Former World Champion in 4 Weight Divisions The Mexican legend has enjoyed a phenomenal career and is still going strong at 40 years of age. Having won world titles from featherweight up to light welterweight, he now campaigns in the welterweight division. Since a 2008 loss to Manny Pacquiao, Marquez has beaten the likes of Joel Casamayor, Juan Diaz (twice), Michael Katsidis and Likar Ramos. He did drop a heavy points loss to Floyd Mayweather, Jr, but he was at a distinct height and weight disadvantage in that fight. He then dropped another points loss to Pacquiao in 2011, but a hugely contestable one. He was a Fighter of the Year candidate in 2012 which a unanimous points win over Serhiy Fedchenko in a bout for the interim WBO light welterweight crown, before his brutal knockout of Manny Pacquiaio in a welterweight clash later that year. He still remains a pound for pound player despite a loss in his last fight, and his only fight of 2013. This defeat came at the hands of WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, who won via split decision. It was a close fight that Bradley probably deserved to edge, but arguments could also have been made for Marquez. So it certainly wasn't a heavily reputation damaging defeat. It's unclear as to what is next for the Mexican. He has publicly targetted the winner of the fight between Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao, which takes place in April. Marquez, however, doesn't seem keen on dropping back down to 140lbs to take on WBO champion Ruslan Provodnikov.
