https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssBCQDnmcH0 Alias: Desert Storm Division: Welterweight Age: 30 Country: USA Record: 31-0 (12 KOs) Titles: WBO Welterweight World Champion The undefeated Timothy Bradley is a two weight world champion; A former champion at light welterweight and current champion at welterweight. He won his first world title, the WBC light welterweight title, in Nottingham, England, courtesy of a split decision win over then champion Junior Witter in May 2008. He followed that up with defences against Edner Cherry and Kendall Holt, capturing the WBO in his points win over the latter. Further wins over Lamont Peterson and Luis Carlos Abregu set up a tantalising clash with Devon Alexander, who'd picked up the WBC belt which Bradley had vacated following his win over Holt. The Silverdome in Michigan, USA was the setting in January 2011 as Bradley recorded a technical decision victory. An eighth round TKO win over Joel Casamayor was Bradley's last at 140lbs, before stepping up to welterweight to capture the WBO crown, with a controversial win over Manny Pacquiao in June 2012. The split decision win was hugely contested, leading to abuse and death threats from aggrieved fans. Due to Bradley's state of mind, he would not fight again in 2012. When Bradley returned to the ring in March 2013, he threw the game plan out of the window as he went toe-to-toe with hard-hitting Russian Ruslan Provodnikov, in what would prove to be a career-defining fight. Bradley survived a brutal opening two rounds, before taking control of the fight in the middle rounds. He then took a knee in the closing stages of the final round, following another onslaught from the 'Siberian Rocky' and did enough to get the nod from the judges, and retain his WBO welterweight crown. That fight appeared to be the making of Bradley, who battled his way to a close, but impressive split decision win over Juan Manuel Marquez in October of last year, in another defence of his crown. He rematches Manny Pacquiao on April 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
