10 Best Premier League Matches Of The 1990s

5. West Ham United 3 - 4 Wimbledon 1998/1999

One of the all time greatest comebacks in Premier League history, the Crazy Gang didn't quite have the same reputation as they once did but they certainly brought back memories of the classic team that won the FA Cup ten years before. Only four games into the new season, both sides were unbeaten and playing with the freedom that the optimism of the new season affords. West Ham were on fire in the opening half hour, the classy strike partnership of John Hartson and Ian Wright putting the Hammers three ahead. Wimbledon got one back straight away but it wasn't until the 64th minute that Wimbledon began their heroics. Jason Euell got their second with Marcus Gayle bagging a brace to bring the scores level with 12 minutes left. The momentum was flowing through the Wombles so they went for the throat, Efan Ekoku heading in a late winner to complete an epic comeback.
