10 Big Talking Points On Luis Suarez's Future

8. Can He Cope With Not Being The Big Star?

Barcelona fans are so passionate about their players, none more so than Lionel Messi. He is regarded by many as the best player in the world and for good reason. He is an incredible talent with a highly impressive record at Barcelona, scoring 243 league goals in 238 appearances. Suarez cannot even dream of emulating La Pulga, so how would this effect his temperament? At Liverpool Suarez was undoubtedly the star man, overshadowing even the highly successful Daniel Sturridge. Luis has been so prolific at Liverpool that the fans have overlooked his indiscretions and supported him no matter what. If he is to adapt to playing for Barcelona he will have to get used to playing second fiddle to at least Messi, if not Neymar as well. This is something the Uruguayan can do and it will allow him to settle into life in La Liga before putting his own stamp on the division.
