10 Biggest 'One Season Wonders' In The Premier League
3. Andy Johnson
Andy Johnson's 21 goals in 2004/05 season is really commendable when you consider they came while playing for a Crystal Palace side that were eventually relegated, and that Thierry Henry was the only player ranked above him on the scoring charts.
He accounted for 51% of the side's goals and was once again banging in for fun while in the Championship. And even though the Eagles couldn't come straight back into the Premier League, Johnson returned to the top-flight with Everton where he had decent spells, netting 17 times in the league over two campaigns.
He later went to ply his trade with Fulham and Queens Park Rangers too, but once again failed to replicate the heroics from that epic season and thus never became the top striker everyone once envisaged he would be.
He is currently working as a brand ambassador for Crystal Palace.
