10 Dangers Daniel Cormier Poses To Jon Jones

6. Cardio

http://youtu.be/nHMEoQ_N6rY While some may consider his cardio still untested, it will surely be better than many of Jones€™ past opponents. The likes of Belfort and Jackson both were worn down, as each round went on in their respective fights. You can make an argument that Alexander Gustafsson lost the decisive fifth round because he was essentially gassed. Even Glover Teixeira looked lethargic in the later rounds of their respective fight. It€™s common that a fighter€™s pace will slow down in the later rounds. The worst indicator of showing fatigue is starting to breathe with your mouth open. That€™s what Gustafsson begin to do in the fifth round and Jones pounced on him. Cormier showed excellent cardio against Barnett, but that was him fighting at heavyweight. It seems that he has mastered his weight cut to 205 now. Based on his track record, I€™ve yet to see him slow down. When you train with Cain Velasquez on a daily basis, you€™ll pick up on his strongest attributes such as his cardio.
