10 Football Records That Will Never Be Broken
5. Arsene's Invincibles

Arsene Wenger may not be flavour of the month in North London anymore, but back in 2003/04 he could walk on water. He'd assembled a team that was literally unbeatable. They cruised through the full Premier League season without defeat, winning 26 of the 38 games.
Led by Patrick Vieira, and with the centre-back stalwarts of Kolo Toure and Sol Campbell, the Gunners were a strong defensive unit. Add the French magic of that season's golden boot winner Thierry Henry in to the mix and Wenger had created the perfect recipe for success.
Although they were knocked out of both the League and FA Cup in the semi -final by Middlesbrough and Man United respectively, their league domination is unlikely to be matched again in the Premier League.
Chelsea have threatened on occasion, and even Leicester came close during their surprising 2015/16 campaign, but no-one has matched the impressive feat. With competition in the Premier League high, it's unlikely that Arsene's Invincibles will have to share their record in the near future.
