8. Frank Mir Vs. Brock Lesnar UFC 81
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uufclkwGDhI Result: Mir defeated Lesnar via submission (kneebar) at 1:30 of round 1 Realistically speaking, Frank Mir could fill up a reasonable chunk of this list on his own. Of his 16-career-wins, nine have come by submission submissions in their nastiest, most stomache-churning form. Mir is the proud owner of the record; most arms broken in the UFC. He was also the first person to submit decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Antonio Big Nog Nogueira. The submission we decided to go for was that of Brock Lesnar at UFC 81 in 2008. Lesnar made his MMA debut after defecting from the WWE at K1 Dynamite!! in 2007 and fought a man who had lost more fights than hes won. His win for this dubious promotion was obviously good enough to earn him a spot in the UFC and just under a year later he made his debut again Frank Mir, who was coming off a submission win against Antoni Hardonk. Lesnar was noticeably far larger than Mir who weighed 10lbs less than Lesnar at the official weigh-ins. This weight may sound inconsequential but it must be remembered that Lesnar would cut water-weight to make the divisions 265-lbs limit whereas Mir weighed in wet. Many people thought Lesnars sheer size would overwhelm the smaller fighter and completely dismissed the fact hed had one fight to Mirs 13. At the start of the fight, Lesnar immediately took Mir down and peppered him with punches and elbows. Lesnar managed to drop Mir and tried to finish him on the ground but as he went to adjust position, Frank quickly moved in for the kill and forced Brock to tap in the very first round by kneebar. Experience had won over strength and the world was shocked.
