10 Hammers And Tigers Who Would Love To Relegate Newcastle

8. Diafra Sakho (West Ham United)

Diafra Sakho might not immediately spring to mind as someone who would have a bone to pick with Newcastle United, but the 25-year-old Senegal striker was dismissed by the club during last summer's transfer window. Newcastle, due to their strong scouting network in France, had the opportunity to sign the striker - who had netted 20 goals in 36 appearances as Metz won the Ligue 2 title - but they felt £3.5 million was far too steep a price to pay for Sakho. Instead Sakho moved to Upton Park, where he has netted 10 Premier League goals in 23 appearances, and the Magpies could be made to rue their decision not to gamble on the former Metz forward if he punishes them for not believing in his ability.
