10 Important Last Minute Goals That Should Never Have Happened
1. Sergi Roberto - Barcelona 6-1 Paris Saint-Germain (9 March 2017)
Paris Saint-Germain had this last 16 knockout tie all but wrapped up, stunning Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg. Barca needed a miracle to get back in the tie. They got it, but not without some terrible refereeing by Deniz Ayetkin.
A Luis Suarez header and a bizarre own goal by Layvin Kurzawa got Barca half way there. Lionel Messi converted a controversial penalty on 50 minutes to make it 3-0 after Thomas Meunier slipped and Neymar went down in the box. Edinson Cavani grabbed a crucial away goal for PSG on 62 minutes leaving Barca needing three to qualify.
Neymar curled in a fantastic free-kick in the 88th minute, and the biggest controversy of the game would come two minutes later. Suarez went down under a challenge from Marquinhos.
There appeared to be very little contact, but Suarez convinced the referee with his theatrics and Neymar scored Barca's second contentious penalty. In the 95th minute Sergi Roberto hooked home from Neymar's delightful ball to make it 6-1 on the night and 6-5 on aggregate in one of the great Champions League moments.
