Long-serving Manchester midfielder Ryan Giggs incredibly found himself as the clubs caretaker manager following last seasons sacking of David Moyes. He took charge of the side for their last four games of the respective campaign, and was in the running to be given a crack at the whip for the full-time position. However, the United hierarchy sought out a more experienced and successful coach to take charge of the Red Devils, with Ryan Giggs appointment as assistant manager being one of the stipulations for the new manager brought in. Giggs is being groomed for the role in the future, as the club hold him in the highest regard for his many years of service as a player. Quite whether he will be the man to lead United in the future beyond Louis Van Gaal's stay remains to be seen, but there can be few people on the planet who know the club more than Giggs, which could be the best way to herald a new era if the Dutchman's time isn't as successful as every Red Devils fan will hope. Which of these managers would you have liked to see managing at Old Trafford the most? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
