A product of the AC Milan youth academy, wing-back Ignazio Abate is another top Serie A talent whose contract will be up in the summer. The 27-year-old spent the early years of his professional career loaned out to the likes of Napoli, Piacenza, Modena, Empoli and Torino between 2004 and 2009. And after forcing his way into the Milan first-team, Abate become one of the best wing-backs in the world. He was a regular in the side for their last title win in 2010/11, and remains a key component in their defence. Ignazio Abate is another player who won€™t be without interest when his contract nears the last few months. AC Milan could well regret waiting to offer him a new contract, and supporters will be in disbelief that€™s he€™s still being allowed to run his deal down as there are few wing-backs better than the 27-year-old in the game.
