10 Lengthiest Bans In Newcastle United History

4. Loic Remy - 14 Months

We've seen Newcastle players slapped with driving bans before, but Loic Remy comes out on top in the severity stakes of that particular offence. The striker admitted being one-and-a-half times the drink limit last March after being pulled over on the A696 dual carriageway at 4.15am.

The Frenchman's Porsche Cayenne was stopped by police in Newcastle and a test showed he had 56mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The limit is 35mg.

The judge banned him for 14 months and fined him £3,750, plus £200 costs and a victim impact surcharge of £120.

Loic loves the licker.
